We feel so lucky and blessed to have Julienne as our officiant and worked with her on our wedding day. We traveled with a very small group of our extended family from New Zealand to Maui to get married. Jules did an awesome job of planning the ceremony for us, adding in all the extra little things we asked for. She was also a great help to explain the Hawaiian laws and customs for a wedding in Hawaii, even helping us track down an alternative agent to get our wedding licence. She helped make the day so special for us.

Rev Julienne made our special day even more special! She officiated us in such a meaningful and thoughtful way. Communication with her was very easy. She gave us various recommendations on ceremony sites depending on where we were staying and was willing to commute. Overall, she was very sweet and kind. Rev Julienne is absolutely amazing! She is the easiest person to talk to and instantly makes you feel comfortable in her presence. I am so happy we had the honor of her officiating our elopement. She’s also great with children and was so kind to our son. She even gave him a traditional Hawaiian lei that (I think) she made herself. Our ceremony was so beautiful. Saying that Rev. Julienne is the best is an understatement. Her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, kind spirit and communication are second to none.

Weeks prior, she carefully and thoughtfully wrote out the script for our ceremony and worked with us to personalize it in a way that was just right for us. On the big day, she arrived early and walked us through everything reassuring us that everything was on point (and it was). Jules was organized and ready to go! She delivered a calm, warm, meaningful ceremony that evoked all the love and aloha we could ask for.

One of the things we admire about Jules is her care for the preservation of Hawaiian culture and traditions. She definitely brought the Aloha spirit into our ceremony and did so in a way that was respectful, authentic and loving. We love that!

We hired Julienne for our elopement in Maui and she went above and beyond our expectations! The ceremony was personalized to us and she incorporated some Hawaiian ceremony traditions. She was so kind hearted and really made us feel so special for our day. Lastly, she really laid out what had to be done for our marriage license and she filed the paperwork for us after the ceremony. Definitely recommend!!!!

Reverend Julienne is incredible. She married my husband and I on a Catamaran in Maui in front of friends and family, flawlessly. I was impressed and grateful for her care. She also helped us with where and how to get our license and even sent me to a helpful page in which would make it easy for me to get all of my documents changed to my new last name. Julienne is the best. She actually wanted to listen to our couple’s story and wrote a very personal, tailored script just for us. Everything she said for us in the ceremony was so soul-touching and we will definitely cherish it forever and live as we vowed to.

She is easy to talk to, supportive, and most importantly, loving. As a gay couple, we read many officiants’ profiles carefully to find someone who would sincerely be happy for us without any judgment and Julienne was the right person. I am sure she’ll be kind and loving to all couples but especially if you’re gay, I just can’t recommend her enough.

When I was planning my elopement, I was going to choose a package from one of the island’s wedding companies but it did not feel personal. I looked for all of my vendors individually and am so glad I did that. Her style and personalization to each couple made me choose her!

Simply the best! We had Julienne conduct our ceremony in Maui and we could not have been happier! I had a ton of things going on with a new move/job but wanted an intimate vow exchange at our favorite place in the whole world, before our larger traditional Hindu wedding. Julienne made things super simple and easy in just a single phone call. She understood what I wanted (elements of Hawaiian culture with elements of Indian culture) and helped brainstorm some ideas which she shared with me. I made my edits and she delivered with perfection. I highly recommend her for your special day because she has a warm personality, calm demeanor and is very efficient at understanding what you could want and executing on it.
